The above 5“ Gauge locomotive came to us in a very poor state, having been discovered during the course of a house clearance. It was “stored” in a roofless garden shed and had been exposed to the elements for approximately 40 years and has now been returned to the customer in the above showroom condition. It is a freelance, steel boilered loco based on an LNER K3. The renovation included the complete strip-down and reworking of many major parts together with the manufacture of new boiler fittings etc. This is an example also of the quality of our paintwork and finishing service.
