This beautiful Live Steam Miniature Traction Engine was built by us for a client and is a close scale replica of the “Royal Chester” Exhibition Engine built by Allchin and exhibited at the Royal Show at Chester in 1925. The model faithfully reproduces the complex paintwork and lining of the original and was completely hand painted and lined with no transfers being used. The lining is hand painted using lines approximately 1/64 inch (0.5 mm) wide in 3 colours.
