We build completed, tested, certified totally silver-soldered copper boilers to the Model Engineer, working in conjunction with an established and fully registered boiler maker. Our boilers all fully comply with the requirements of the European Pressure Vessel Regulations and some are even available as Stock Items.
Our boiler-maker and his team have made over 300 boilers and have experience in dealing with all types in copper boiler fabrication for locomotives, traction engines and steam plants. We also have the ability to produce Steel boilers for larger scale locomotives and traction engines, all fully welded by a qualified and coded welder.
We do carry a small stock of ready made and certified boilers in stock and also produce locomotive and traction engine boilers to order, normally within a 4 to 7 month timescale. We always aim to complete a boiler within 6 months of firm order and believe in actively bringing the economic benefits of forward planning to our customer base whilst trying to provide the fastest turn-round time possible and maintaining the quality for which Lynx Model Works has become known.
